Stakeholder stories

We gathered several stories from the internal and external stakeholders.

As the lead cook or head chef, I want a system with clear a concise orders so I know what to make without having to waste time finding the cashier or waitress to confirm of what was written down. The lead cook, Lettie finds it a hassle and time consuming to ask the cashier or waitress what was written in the first place. The cooks agree that a well thought out plan of communication is needed.

As a Cashier, I want a system that can calculate the total due instantly, so I don’t have to waste time calculating the correct amount for an order. Jamie and other Cashiers stress levels rise very quickly because they have to constantly calculate the total and change for all the orders with a regular calculator. If the cashier makes a mistake the customer may get upset or the cashier's cash may come up short. The Cashier pleas that they need a system to help them keep better track of sales.

As the owner, I want a system that can help organize all the documents of the business, so that they can used the well-organized files to make it easier to find the documentation needed to make a critical decision. Gabriela the owner is frustrated from the disorganization that consumes all of the documentations that is needed to keep the restaurant functioning. Important aspect of the business is sometimes lost which result in money being lost. Inventory can be lost and employees can be missing hours of pay. The owner begs for a better system that could help them document properly.

As a loyal Customer I want a system that is precise and can help the business get me out of there faster so I can get back to work on time. Some of the most loyal customers of Gabriela’s are there 1st thing in the morning ordering their food to go. These external Stake holders, (the customers) complain that the bill they receive for their meal is all based on trust that the cashier did the job perfectly. The customer would much rather see their order and the price, rather than take the cashiers word for it.

As an inventory supplier to Gabriela’s, I want a system that can help the management keep an inventory log so that I don’t have to guess or wait on the next shipment order. The 3rd party businesses that supply our clients business with supplies would appreciate that the owner’s documentation is cleaned up so that the arrangement of restocking inventory isn't such a hassle.

These are our stakeholders concerns and we will use our scope of support to give the best advice the company of what to do and how to take action.
